About Reza
Reza Mahammad is a well-known British chef, famed for his knowledge of spices and how they have influenced cooking along the spice trail of the Middle and Far East.
Reza first made a name for himself through his renowned London restaurant, 'The Star of India', which he took over from his late father when he was just 16-years-old. He has since appeared widely on television, both presenting his own series and starring on TV shows such as ITV's This Morning, the BBC's Saturday Morning Kitchen, and Channel 4's A Place in France, and also makes regular guest appearances at culinary events throughout the world.
Reza has written a number of cookbooks and also has his own international catering business, including his most recent venture, the Chez Cartier cookery school, which is located in the Charente region of south west France.
