Welcome to DIX, a family-run restaurant with rooms in the charming village of Sainte-Alvère.
Set in the heart of the Dordogne's Périgord Noir, we serve locally sourced, seasonal food in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
We now offer a single 4 ou 6 course tasting menu with vegetarian options available. Special dietary requirements can be catered for by advance request.
DIX is a collaboration between passionate French Chef, Raphaël Mollica (who works single handedly in the kitchen), and his English partner, Gemma, who are often joined in the restaurant by chief taste tester, 4-year-old Louis.

Gault & Millau
In 2020, just a few short months after opening, we were delighted to be welcomed into France's prestigious Gault & Millau Restaurant Guides.
in 2021 we were honoured to be awarded a place in Gault & Millaut's Sélection 109 - a guide to the best new chefs and restaurants in France. (DIX is the only restaurant to feature from the whole of the Dordogne).
